Thanks for attending my retirement celebration

DEAR WWU COMMUNITY FRIENDS,

I want to express my sincerest and deepest appreciation for all those who attended my retirement celebration on January 11. It was so absolutely wonderful to see all of you and to have a chance to talk with each of you. You have been such a significant part of my past 42 years at Western, and it was wonderful to reconnect with so many of you from past positions and many offices on campus.

[More:]

Thank you also for all your care and concern for me during the last difficult 12 months of 2007. I look forward to the opportunity to keep in  touch with you all  in the future. Seeing so many of my friends and colleagues at my party meant an incredible amount to my family and me. Thank you so very much. I shall never forget you nor how you have impacted my life.

In friendship,

Teresa LaFreniere
