Five policies recently have been posted for 30-day campus review:

• POL-U5400.21 Managing Wireless Voice/Data Devices The new policy proposes a process that would eliminate tax liability for the university while still allowing cell phone use by employees.

The draft policy was reviewed by groups and individuals across campus and revised to reflect their input. A 30-day comment period is required prior to the final draft review by the Executive Policy Group. The policy will be posted May 1 to 30 and the campus community is encouraged to review this document at http://www.wwu.edu/policies/30dayreview.shtml.
