The Miller Market eatery in Miller Hall is closed in anticipation of the renovation to the building being done in the next two years.

The market will open in its temporary location -- a 70-foot trailer in Red Square -- on Aug. 24.

Until then, the Tony's Coffee location in Haggard Hall on the other side of Red Square will be open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The market is slated to return to its original but newly renovated digs in Miller Hall at the end of the first phase of construction, which is scheduled to end in late summer or early fall of 2010, before the start of fall quarter.

The two-phase renovation project is scheduled to take approximately two years to complete.

The following cafes and markets will be open during intersession (June 15 to 19):

• Tony’s Coffee, Haggard Hall: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Viking Union Café: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Viking Union Market: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Chick-fil-A Express is open.

Summer quarter hours:

• The Atrium: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Espresso: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Pizza Hut Express: 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Freshens: 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Tony’s Cofee, Haggard Hall: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Viking Union Café: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Viking Union Market: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Chick-fil-A Express and Mediterranean Grill are open inside Viking Union Market.
