Western Today is a service of the Office of Communications and Marketing at Western Washington University. The website is updated daily with news and information about the university or of interest to the WWU community.

Members of the WWU community use Western Today as their primary source of information about the university.

In addition to the website, an e-mail is sent out each workday apprising recipients of the top news, entertainment and information items of the day. Anyone may sign up for these e-mail messages by filling out and submitting the sign-up form. Past editions of the e-mail are available at http://news.wwu.edu/go/doctype/1538/22452/.

On the Western Today website, visitors will find:

• A list, updated daily, of major media stories about or directly related to WWU.
• A multimedia blog containing images and videos related to the university.
• Feature stories.
• Faculty, staff and student profiles.
• A daily list of events happening at or involving WWU.
• News and information related to the daily lives of WWU faculty, staff and students.
• A list of all news releases from the Office of Communications and Marketing about the university.
