The public is invited to a free forum addressing the merits of the Electoral College versus the national popular vote in determining the U.S. president. The League of Women Voters of Bellingham/Whatcom County event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Bellingham Public Library's basement meeting room, 210 Central Ave.
