WWU Hosts Talk on Teacher Education

6:30PM to 9:00PM - Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon: Ken Zeichner, Boeing Professor of Teacher Education at the University of Washington, will be the featured speaker during an event on teacher education from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, April 27 at the Lincoln Theatre in Mount Vernon.
The event is sponsored by Western’s Woodring College of Education, the WWU Office of the Provost and Western’s Extended Education. Anyone interested in the future of teacher education is encouraged to attend. Coffee and dessert will be served.
Zeichner is one of the top scholars in the nation whose work focuses on teacher education; his talk will focus on promising practices for teacher education.
