Western Washington University men's basketball coach Brad Jackson announced today that Dan Young, a 6-foot-10 center at Highline Community College, has signed a national letter of intent to compete for the Vikings beginning the fall of 2010. Young averaged 8.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks last year as a freshman for the Thunderbirds, helping them to a 22-9 record and the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (NWAACC) West Division championship (15-1).
