Fleischbein recently was honored with a Local Hero Award from the Washington State Bar Association for her perseverance in pursuing a law degree and her work in the legal world and the local community. She began her legal career at 16, when she became a legal secretary for several local attorneys while still in high school. She later earned an associate degree at Olympic College and a bachelor’s degree at Western Washington University."
