RE Sources honors Whatcom County residents who protect environment

"Eight Whatcom County residents who protected salmon, encouraged food composting, worked against sprawl and otherwise helped the planet - in the field, boardrooms and classrooms - will be honored as environmental heroes.
Bellingham-based RE Sources for Sustainable Communities selected the eight as its 2010 Environmental Heroes."
Why this is relevant:
Among the winners are Laurie Caskey-Schreiber, who works in the Sociology Department, and Dan Warner, a professor of accounting. Another winner, Sid Hammond, was a winner of the Award for Professional Excellence from WWU's Woodring College of Education.
