Dutch Lions blanked by Los Angeles
Dayton (Ohio) Daily News
The Dayton Dutch Lions continue to be the most offense-challenged team in the United Soccer Leagues Pro Division. The Los Angeles Blues defeated the Lions 1-0 at Miami Valley South Stadium Friday night before an estimated crowd of 300. The Lions are 0-3-2 with one goal in those five games. They are in last place in the 11-team league. All the other clubs have scored at least three times. Dayton had nine shots on goal. Three of those attempts could have gone in. Gibson Bardsley, a second-year pro who played at Western Washington University, had the best look.
