Before continuing his basketball career and education at Western Washington University and helping the Vikings to the program's first ever national championship last weekend, Richard Woodworth was a three-time team MVP for the Newport Knights. Woodworth scored 10 points and also had a team-high nine rebounds and four assists in his team's 75-62 win over Montevallo (Alabama) to capture the NCAA Division II men's basketball national title.
