Guard John Allen became the 23rd player in Western Washington men's basketball history to reach the 1,000-point mark en route to a game-high 24 points, leading the No. 6 Vikings to a 117-52 victory over Quest (Squamish, B.C.) in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon at Sam Carver Gymnasium. The defending NCAA Division II champion Vikings remained unbeaten at 7-0 and have won 13 straight over the last two seasons. The 117 points and the 65-point margin of victory were the most for the Vikings since the 2008-09 season.
