Join Brad Howard, Ph.D., Journalism Department, for his presentation entitled, “Media Policy, Media Practice.” Discover some of the ways U.S. media policy undermines the ability of journalism in the United States to meet the needs of our democratic republic. Can media policy create an antidemocratic force? What myths undermine meaningful public participation in policy debates?
 
All faculty and staff are invited to attend. There are two dates, each covering different material. Attend both or either:
