Western Libraries display cases available for departmental use

Western Today staff

The Western Libraries provides display cases to Western Washington University departments and organizations as part of its service to the academic community.

The exhibits fulfill two goals: to direct attention to the materials and services of the Libraries and to reflect the aims, goals and services of WWU departments and organizations. The exhibit cases are an excellent forum in which to showcase student work. Past exhibits that have been well received featured course work from the Children’s Literature Conference (English Department students), Sustainable Water: Bottle Recycling Program (AS Group), and May is Bike Month (Transportation Services).

Display cases are available to any WWU organization and may be reserved for one to two months. Groups should make requests for a display case at least one month before the date on which they wish to begin an exhibit. Requests are granted subject to case availability.

All cases are located on Wilson Library's main floor in high-traffic areas. Visit the Western Libraries website for photographs and descriptions of current displays, application for use of a case, and policies.
