Guess receives award for distinguished literary achievement
Carol Guess, a professor in the Department of English at Western Washington University, has been selected for the The Philolexian Award for Distinguished Literary Achievement, given by the Philolexian Society of Columbia University.
Past winners include John Hollander and Lydia Davis.
Guess will receive the award at a ceremony on the Columbia University campus in April.
