Letter from the Crossan family to WWU, Bellingham
To Western Washington University and the Bellingham Community,
It has been nearly three weeks since our son Tim died, and although we will never fully understand why he has left us, we thank God for the 19 wonderful years with him. He was a gift, and our loving memories of Tim will move us forward as a family.
This has been the most difficult period in our lives, but we have been heartened by those reaching out to us from WWU and the Bellingham community. We were treated only with kindness and respect. The students and administration were incredibly warm and caring despite Tim’s brief time at WWU. The genuine support that we received from virtually everyone we met in Bellingham helped us though the shock of our loss.
Tim brought joy to the lives he touched, and we are pleased that he is at rest in Bellingham, a decent and compassionate community that reaffirms our faith in humanity.
Thank you
The Crossan family
