Bike to Work and School day is Friday, May 21.

More than 30 celebration stations will be located throughout the county, and those who bike or walk to them can enjoy refreshments, gifts, stickers and a chance to enter prize drawings for dozens of cash prizes. On campus, celebration stations will be located near the Student Recreation Center and off Red Square behind Bond Hall.

The WWU Department of Theatre Arts will present "The Miracle Worker," directed by WWU Theatre instructor Patrick Dizney, from May 19 to 23 in the Performing Arts Center Mainstage Theater. The play also ran from May 13 to 16.

"The story of 'The Miracle Worker' is one of the most inspiring of our times, relating the triumph of Helen Keller over seemingly insurmountable obstacles," Dizney said.

Western Washington University is proposing amendments to its Washington Administrative Code rules related to parking and traffic and will hold a public hearing at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, in Old Main Room 340 on the WWU campus.

Proposed rule amendments to Chapter 516-12 WAC, Parking and Traffic Regulations, have been filed with the Code Reviser’s Office and published in the Washington State Register.
