Monday water shutoff canceled

The water shutdown originally scheduled for Monday, March 19, has been canceled, as plumbers were able to make temporary repairs to a damaged water main.

Several buildings on the Western Washington University campus -- Parks Hall, Environmental Studies, Arntzen Hall, Engineering Technology, Fine Arts and the Art Annex -- were to be without water Monday so workers could repair the damaged water line. That shutdown will no longer take place, at least for now.
